Quality, Risk and Compliance Officer

We are seeking an Quality, Risk and Compliance Officer to join our College's compliance team.
<p><b>The Role </b></p>
<p>The Quality, Risk, and Compliance Officer you will be instrumental in ensuring Sheldon College's compliance with all applicable legislation and standards, with a specific emphasis on Quality, Risk Management, and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS).</p>
<p>In this position, you will collaborate closely with the College's leadership team to formulate, implement, and supervise robust strategies and practices in risk management, workplace health and safety, quality assurance, and compliance.</p>

<p><b>About You </b></p>
<p>A risk specialist, you will also have demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining strategies to minimise legal liability and enhance overall safety. You will have knowledge specifically in Child Protection, WPHS and Psychosocial safety risks and compliance requirements. You will be adept at being able to integrate risk management practices into daily operational and decision-making processes.</p>
<p>Further you will have:</p>
<ul>
<li>Relevant tertiary or diploma qualifications in WH&S, Fire Safety, or related fields.</li>
<li>Eligible to successfully hold a Working with Children Blue Card</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience in Risk, Quality, and WH&S Management systems, preferably in the education industry.</li>
<li>Capability to conduct and manage internal audits and compliance processes.</li>
<li>Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015, AS 45001:2018, and educational standards.</li>
<li>Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills</li>
</ul>
