<p>​Our College is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Primary / Secondary English Teacher Aide to join our team this year.</p> <p>The successful candidate will commence in 2024. Appropriate rigorous reference and background checking will be undertaken for all applicants, including a Working with Children Check and police record and identity check.</p> <p>Duties will include:</p> <ul> <li>Assisting students on an individual or group basis in specific learning areas</li> <li>Assisting with the communication between students and teachers, particularly the interpretation of instructions</li> <li>Providing basic physical and emotional care for students</li> <li>Participating in team meetings</li> <li>Assisting with the supervision of pupils in playgrounds, at camps, on excursions, in sporting activities, therapy activities and life skills</li> <li>Assisting in the preparation of student resources and equipment</li> <li>Preparing basic curriculum support resources</li> <li>Setting up and putting away equipment and materials in support of teaching programs</li> <li>Observing students and draw the attention of the teacher to them where necessary</li> <li>Participating in the monitoring and evaluation of programs and evaluation of individual student involvement and achievement</li> <li>Assisting with communication between teachers, parents and students</li> </ul> <p>The successful candidate must have:</p> <ul> <li>Relevant tertiary qualifications</li> <li>Current Working with Children Check</li> <li>Experience with Windows software, especially Outlook, Word and Excel</li> <li>Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines</li> <li>Ability to work independently but more importantly participate effectively as part of a team</li> <li>1 to 2 year experience in a similar role</li> </ul> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p>
