<p>The Junior School Teaching and Learning / PYP Coordinator is responsible for the implementation, management and monitoring of the curriculum and pedagogical approach within the Junior School. This includes the ongoing implementation of the International Baccalaureate Organisation’s Primary Years Program (PYP) and ensuring that the policies, procedures and teaching practices within the Junior School reflect the philosophy and mission statement of Faith Lutheran College and the IBO Primary Years Programme. </p><p> The Teaching and Learning / PYP Co-ordinator&#39;s own high standards will provide an excellent example for the staff and community they serve. Their vision will sustain and enhance a culture that strives to bring out the best in staff and students and their excellent communication and knowledge on matters of curriculum will help to build strong relationship within the College community and with external stakeholders </p><p>The Co-ordinator will report to the Head of Junior School and is expected to work in collaboration with the JS Inclusive Practices Coordinator, Early Years Co-ordinator, ELC-6 Class and Specialist teachers and relevant staff. They will also interact with the College Director of Teaching and Learning and the MYP Co-ordinator to ensure there is continuity in IB programmes between the two sub-schools. </p><p>The role ideally commences at the start of the 2024 school year and is currently Tuesdays and Wednesdays to align with Specialist timetables for release.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>
