<p>LACS is a K - 12 school in Ltyentye Apurte / Santa Teresa, a medium-sized Aboriginal Catholic community located&nbsp;83 KM south east of Alice Springs. There are 44 staff and an enrolment of approximately 130 students. The school has small class sizes and features specialist facilities including a&nbsp;community library, STEM and home economics rooms. Every classroom has access to the&nbsp;internet and is fitted with PCs, laptops, iPads and interactive whiteboards.&nbsp; English is&nbsp;the second or third language for most students at the school, and the Arrernte&nbsp;language &amp; culture program is a key focus of the curriculum at LACS.&nbsp; Teachers work as members of a team in partnership with local Aboriginal people&nbsp;and Arrernte Assistant Teachers.
