With over 5000 passionate employees located across 80 primary and secondary schools, we have the intent and the resources to transform the learning and unlock the full potential of each of our 40,000 plus students.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About the Role:</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">The Learning team is currently seeking a <strong>Teaching Educator (Primary English/Literacy)</strong> to provide support to school leadership teams and teachers.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">If you are passionate about transforming learning for all students, this is the perfect opportunity to become part of our highly collaborative team!&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>This position is permanent full-time.&nbsp;</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">The Teaching Educator is accountable for:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Providing support to school leadership teams and teachers in the transformation of learning and teaching in schools.</p></li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Developing, designing and delivering professional learning in-situ and system wide.</p></li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Promoting and implementing Learning priorities and initiatives in line with system strategy and evidence-based learning programs.</p></li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Applying specialist pedagogical and discipline knowledge in learning.</p></li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Building teacher capabilities in contemporary learning and teaching practices.</p></li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About you:</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Successful primary English teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice</p></li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Confidence with, and expertise in supporting colleagues to plan high quality learning, using the new NSW English Syllabus</p></li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Evidence of pedagogical leadership in primary English, informed by quality data, evidence and evaluative practice&nbsp;</p></li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional learning and commitment to leading others in this area</p></li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Evidenced effective communication, interpersonal skills and demonstrated skill in working collaboratively with colleagues&nbsp;</p></li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Tertiary qualifications in Education or relevant field</p></li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Working with Children Check clearance</p></li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Interested?</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">This position involves working with children.
