Teachers within the Diocese are responsible to the Principal and share in the learning and teaching of subject matters to students of the school community.

We are currently seeking passionate, dynamic and energetic casual teachers to work across all grade levels with the relevant NESA accreditation. This is a fantastic opportunity to create engaging and creative learning environments in a supportive and fulfilling community.&nbsp; More specifically you will:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Structure lessons to meet the physical, social and intellectual development and characteristics of your students<br><br></p></li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Create and maintain a safe, inclusive and challenging learning environment and implement fair and equitable behaviour management plans<br><br></p></li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Maintain records of student achievement;<br><br></p></li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Provide an extensive pedagogical knowledge base and understanding of how the identified subject areas are learned, what affects students’ opportunities to learn the subject matter and how the learning and teaching of the subject matter can be enhanced.<br><br></p></li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Work creatively and constructively within a range of 'communities' inside and beyond the school and set high, achievable goals for themselves and their students.<br><br></p></li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About you:</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the core purpose and values of Holy Family with:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Tertiary Qualification in Education<br><br></p></li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Statements of Service<br><br></p></li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Ability to successfully implement and evaluate curriculum initiatives in accordance with NESA curriculum framework<br><br></p></li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance<br><br></p></li> </ul> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative teamwork<br><br></p></li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">High quality classroom teaching skills which enable students with a diverse range of needs to achieve their full potential<br><br></p></li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Interested?</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">This position involves working with children.
