We are a Catholic Co-educational College in Tarneit, west of Melbourne with 1220 students.</p> <p><b> About the role&nbsp;</b></p> <p>The College is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Learning Area Leader - Humanities (POL 3 ) to join our team in 2024.</p> <p>Learning Area Leaders, upon appointment, agree to share in the Principal’s leadership and represent the Principal in discharging the duties as outlined below. Reporting to the Principal they are responsible for ensuring that the learning and teaching programs at Thomas Carr College are contemporary, rigorous, engaging and reflect the College’s vision and values.</p> <p>The Learning Area Leader for Humanities / Civics and Citizenship works closely with the Deputy Principal – Learning and Teaching, and with the support of the Heads of Learning and Teaching oversees the development and implementation of a comprehensive Humanities curriculum across all year levels.
