Kirinari High Support Centre is seeking a passionate Leading Teacher to be accountable for supporting our strategic intent of improving learning outcomes for all students.

At full capacity, Kirinari can cater for 30 students.</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About the opportunity</strong>:</p> <p dir="ltr">Kirinari High Support Centre is seeking a passionate Leading Teacher to be accountable for supporting our strategic intent of improving learning outcomes for all students. This role will support our students in Kirinari High Support Centre and work with school staff to implement personalised learning plans. More specifically you will:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Collaborate and consult with teachers and leaders to design and implement Learning and Wellbeing frameworks to improve learning outcomes for students with additional needs</p></li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Contribute to the development and implementation of Student Services strategy to improve student outcomes</p></li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Mentor and collaborate with teachers in providing specialised teaching support services to schools aimed at building teacher capacity using a gradual release model</p></li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Providing expert advice to leadership teams, teachers and the wider system on matters related to specific disabilities and/or additional needs in accordance with CSPD guidelines</p></li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Collaborate with school teams to promote partnerships with parents, carers and the community.</p></li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About you:</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the purpose and core values of CSPD along with:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Tertiary qualifications in the relevant area of study<br><br></p></li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Appropriate demonstrated experience<br><br></p></li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Previous experience working with students who have high support needs <br><br></p></li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">We are part of Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD), a system of schools committed to responding to the needs of students in a world that is changing rapidly.
