<p>We are seeking a teacher who is able to demonstrate:</p> <ul> <li>a commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education and to the safety and well-being of all students</li> <li>ability to work effectively in a team.</li> <li>use data effectively to inform the teaching and learning of students</li> <li>commitment to ongoing professional learning as part of a school community.</li> <li>a proven record of building positive partnerships with students, their families, staff and the wider school community members.</li> <li>knowledge and understanding of the Victorian Curriculum.</li> <li>the ability to plan and deliver learning experiences that are differentiated to accommodate a range of abilities and learning styles.</li> </ul> <p>The teacher position will be offered initially <b>on a fixed-term basis for 12 months </b>with the possibility of further employment depending on staffing levels.<br></p> <p>The successful applicant must have:</p> <ul> <li>full registration or provisional registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching</li> <li>be accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic Primary School. (or working towards this)</li> <li>knowledge of the Child Safe Standards and of the expectations of a staff member in adhering to them</li> <li>read and be committed to maintaining the standards as set out in our Child Safe Code of Conduct</li> <li>read, and be aware of, the attached statement on the 'Principles Regarding Catholic Education</li> </ul> <p><br></p> <p>This community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.</p> <p></p> <p></p>
