We are seeking a permanent full-time Coordinator of Learning Enhancement.

Ascham is an inclusive, day and boarding school that provides a strong academic program within a warm, welcoming environment.</p> <p>We are seeking a permanent full-time Coordinator of Learning Enhancement.</p> <p><b>Duties and Responsibilities </b></p> <p>The Coordinator of Learning Enhancement 7-12 is responsible for assisting the Head of Learning Enhancement and Enrichment P-12 in the running of the Senior School’s Learning Enhancement department. The Coordinator of Learning Enhancement 7-12 will also support the transition of Year 6 students into Year 7 as they adapt to the Dalton Plan.</p> <p><b>Essential Criteria </b></p> <ul> <li>Appropriate tertiary and teaching qualifications and accreditation with NESA including qualification and experience teaching students with learning difficulties and disabilities. Experience in a Learning Enhancement teaching role including the delivery of specialist interventions.</li> <li>Sound awareness and understanding of the many characteristics of neurodiverse learners including students with diagnoses of Specific Learning Disorders, ADHD and ASD.</li> <li>A demonstrated ability to make adjustments for students with diverse learning needs and assist in the planning of a differentiated curriculum with faculties.</li> <li>A strong commitment to student wellbeing and to meeting students’ social and emotional needs.</li> <li>Well-developed time management and organisational skills</li> </ul> <p>The successful applicant will enjoy a stimulating work environment in a team of talented professionals, and attractive remuneration and benefits.</p> <p>Please apply via Seek with your cover letter and curriculum vitae (please include WWCC &amp; First Aid and CPR details) and the names and contact details of two referees by <b>COB 06 November 2023</b>.
