While at the forefront is a commitment in the delivery of information resources that are essential to the requirements of contemporary learning.<br></p> <p>Working together with a strong supportive team consisting of a Librarian and Library Technician, this role reports directly to the Assistant Principal, Teaching and Learning, with key liaisons across the College.<br></p> <p><b>Key areas of responsibility will include:</b><br></p> <ul> <li>Strategic Direction</li> <li>Learning Resource Centre</li> <li>Learning and Teaching</li> <li>Management and Administration</li> </ul> <p><br></p> <p><b>About You</b></p> <p><b>Key Requirements:</b><br></p> <ul> <li>Recognised teaching qualifications and qualifications in librarianship together with current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)</li> <li>Demonstrated ability and experience in delivering effective teaching and learning strategies that cater for the different learning needs of students</li> <li>Thorough knowledge and understanding of contemporary practice in education</li> <li>Ability to lead an effective and committed client focused team</li> <li>Advanced ICT skills and experience in providing ICT and research support to both staff and students</li> <li>Personal skills of flexibility, adaptability as well as a high degree of motivation and initiative&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to establish positive and effective working relationships with staff and students</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills</li> <li>A commitment to ongoing professional learning and development</li> <li>Demonstrated commitment to Catholic Education and an understanding of the importance of charism and spiritual tradition in the life of an order-owned Catholic School</li> <li>A commitment to the safety, wellbeing, and protection of all children</li> </ul> <p><br></p> <p><b>Commencing 29 January 2024 (Term 1). This position is full time and has a tenure of 3 years (2024-2026).
