Catholic Regional College North Keilor is seeking a professional and motivated HR/Payroll and Accounts Receivables Assistant to join our Team.

<p><b>HR/Payroll and Accounts Receivables Assistant </b></p> <p>Catholic Regional College North Keilor, a Year 7 – 10 secondary College is seeking a suitably qualified and highly enthusiastic HR/Payroll and Accounts Receivables Assistant who is passionate about payroll and accounts receivables. This role is also responsible for HR related administration. This is for a full-time fixed term contract for the 2024 school year.</p> <p><b>Key duties and responsibilities: </b></p> <ul> <li>Utilising your payroll experience you will be required to process our fortnightly payroll. You will also be responsible for setting up new employees within our payroll system, updating and maintaining system data, responding to payroll queries, completing administrative functions, and staying up to date with all relevant legislation, policy and regulations.</li> <li>Assist the Principal to ensure conformity with all Awards and Agreements applicable to all College staff with regards to payroll, taxation, superannuation, WorkCover, and all other relevant legislation; and ensure accurate records of these activities are kept.</li> <li>Post fee payments by recording cash, cheques, and credit card transactions.</li> <li>Summarise accounts receivables by maintaining invoice accounts</li> <li>Coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account; verifying totals; preparing report.</li> <li>Assist with the collection of fees in line with the College’s Fee</li> <li>Policy, including liaising with families regarding allowances and concessions, and liaising with the Business Manager.</li> <li>Prepare banking of payments and receipts received at the College reception.</li> </ul> <p><b>Key Skills/Attributes include:</b><br></p> <ul> <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to communicate with children, parents and the school community in a professional manner</li> <li>Attention to detail and high level of accuracy</li> <li>Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders</li> <li>Empathy and cultural awareness</li> <li>Discretion and an ability to maintain confidentiality</li> <li>Strong time management and capacity to work to tight timelines with minimal supervision</li> <li>Proven capacity to work independently but also as part of a team.</li> <li>Self‐motivation and initiative</li> <li>Ability and willingness to accept policy directives</li> </ul> <p><b>Key Qualifications/Certifications </b></p> <ul> <li>Experience with Synergetic financial management system would be highly advantageous.</li> <li>Proficient in working with the Microsoft Office suite, in particular Outlook, Word and Excel, with well-developed word processing and data entry skills</li> <li>A satisfactory Working with Children Check and National Criminal History Check</li> <li>Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship</li> </ul> <p><b>Why join CRC North Keilor? </b></p> <p>We take pride in being an inclusive, faith community that welcomes and values all the students, families and staff at our College.
