The preferred applicant would need to be qualified and experienced in teaching Stage 6 English courses.</p> <p>The English Coordinator is primarily responsible for the effective leadership, implementation, management and coordination of English at the College. As a College leader, the English Coordinator is a role model personally and professionally, and able to develop positive relationships, foster a culture of collaboration and inquiry and be proactive in support of the Catholic mission and values of Mary MacKillop Catholic College.</p> <p>The English Coordinator is a member of the middle leadership team and is a 2pt Coordinator position.</p> <p><b>About you</b></p> <ul> <li>have the secondary qualifications and experience in teaching Stage 4-6 English course(s)</li> <li>be an experienced, enthusiastic, highly effective, innovative and motivated educator and leader with a passion for leading learning and teaching</li> <li>have ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team, build upon its collective efficacy, and develop and lead its strategic agenda</li> <li>possess excellent interpersonal, communication, technology and contemporary teaching skills</li> <li>have experience with programming and assessment design, reporting, feedback and data analysis</li> <li>have effectively used data and evidence based approaches to foster school improvement</li> <li>be enthusiastic, keen to engage and inspire our students and staff, and be able to effectively lead our students and staff.</li> <li>possess a sound knowledge of the NSW English curriculum and the requirements of the NSW Education Standards Authority and the ability to lead others in the implementation and use of all relevant NESA, SCS and school policies and procedures</li> <li>have proven ability to differentiate instruction, cater for the diverse needs of learners and personalise learning for students from Year 7 to Year 12</li> <li>able to assess for learning, as learning and of learning and integrate effective feedback in student learning</li> <li>be committed to the Catholic ethos and values of our school</li> <li>be focused on the needs of the students and the community the school serves</li> <li>be committed to the full range of College activities and able to contribute to the culture of the school and its community</li> <li>have an understanding of the education of girls</li> <li>have a strong work ethic</li> </ul> <p><b>Selection Criteria</b></p> <p>All applications must address the following Selection Criteria.
