We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest for someone with practical skills and a passion for working with students to join our team in the design technology faculty.

The Design Technology Assistant helps to facilitate the operations of the technical rooms and to support the teaching staff, in a manner that is God honouring and consistent with the school’s vision to provide a Christ-centred education in a learning community of Love, Nurture and Service. The Design Technology Assistant will ensure that order, safety, maintenance, preparation and forward thinking are given a high priority at all times, and thus contribute to high quality and professional Design Technology spaces.</p> <p><b>Duties include:</b><br></p> <p>&gt;Maintaining and storing equipment, tools and supplies</p> <p>&gt;Ordering and keeping supplies stocked in the work areas (such as timber, metal and hardware)</p> <p>&gt;Ensuring safety equipment and procedures are constantly up-to-date</p> <p>&gt;Ensuring learning spaces are fully equipped and ready for classes, and</p> <p>&gt;Assisting students in the classroom as directed by the teacher.</p> <p>On the job training will be provided and technical qualifications or experience are desirable, but not required. All team members must have a Working With Vulnerable People check.
