An amazing opportunity for a School Support Officer (Level 4) to join our dynamic and experienced team. This is a permanent position working - 45 hours per fortnight (commencing Term 1, 2024).

<p>Holy Spirit Catholic College Lakemba is a dynamic faith Community preparing young adults for the challenges of the modern world.<br></p> <p>As the first point of contact, you are the face and voice of the College, delivering outstanding levels of professional and courteous service to the College's community and visitors. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication, time management and organisational skills, along with being well-presented and boasting a positive attitude.</p> <p>This is a diverse and challenging role that requires someone who enjoys meeting new people and who is able to connect quickly with others. Your flexibility and time management skills will be crucial to your success in this role.</p> <p><b>About you</b><br></p> <p>The successful applicant will provide high-level administrative support across the range of activities for which the Principal is responsible for. The School Support Officer will also represent Holy Spirit Catholic College in a professional, warm, friendly and efficient manner and interact effectively with students, staff and parents, showing discretion and respecting confidentiality.</p> <p><b>To be successful for this role, you must demonstrate:</b><br></p> <ul> <li>a commitment to the Catholic Church and a strong sense of faith</li> <li>strong communication skills and ability to deal sensitively with students, parents/carers and staff</li> <li>excellent organisational skills including the ability to work effectively in a busy environment, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines</li> <li>experience working in administration</li> <li>experience with Compass or the ability to learn new systems</li> <li>ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team</li> <li>advanced computer literacy skills (MS Office and Google suite)</li> <li>excellent written and oral communication</li> <li>accuracy and attention to detail</li> <li>other duties as directed by the Principal</li> </ul> <p><b>You will have also attained:</b></p> <ul> <li>a current First Aid Certificate</li> <li>a Certificate III/IV (TAFE NSW) or equivalent post-secondary qualification in administration, human resources, finance, accounting or equivalent</li> <li>a SCS Employee ID Number by completing the Registration Process, or a commitment to complete the registration process.</li> </ul> <p><b>Statement of Commitment to Child Safety </b></p> <p>Click <a href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/12ydDkySwo9YX_KsXjFro08t9OXY7S2dZ/view" rel="nofollow">here</a> to access SCS' Statement of Commitment to Child Safety and join us in creating a culture of child safety and wellbeing.</p> <p><b>Working With Children Check (WWCC) </b></p> <p>This role is classified as child-related work and therefore requires a WWCC clearance prior to commencement of employment.</p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p>
