About the Role<br></strong>As a senior leader in our school, the Assistant Principal collaborates closely with the Principal to guide and nurture the school community as a centre of faith, inclusion, and missionary discipleship. This pivotal role shares responsibility for steering the school's mission and vision, ensuring the delivery of high-quality Catholic learning and teaching experiences. The Assistant Principal achieves this through various key functions:</p>

<li>Fostering a Faith Community

<li>Creating a vibrant faith community and inspiring leadership to foster a deep sense of spirituality and belief in Catholic values.</li>
<li>Actively promoting and upholding the vision and mission of Catholic Education Diocese of Bathurst through their exemplary religious, educational, and enabling leadership</li>

<li>Cultivating a Student-Centred Learning Culture
<ul type="circle">
<li>Leading the development of a contemporary, student-centred learning environment to drive positive change and continuous improvement in the school.</li>

<li>Building Collaborative Partnerships

<li>Working closely with stakeholders to support the faith journey, learning, and well-being of our students and staff.</li>
<li>Contributing to a sense of belonging to the local Catholic community and parishes for our families and students.</li>

<li>Leading and supporting holistic education - spiritually, intellectually, physically, relationally and emotionally.</li>

About You</strong><br>
The new Assistant Principal will support and lead our school into its bright future and align with the following selection criteria:</p>
<ul>
<li>A practising Catholic with a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education, and an understanding of leadership in a Catholic context</li>
<li>Experience as a leader of learning, with the capacity to lead change and demonstrate contemporary pedagogy that focuses on improving student learning</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience in building teacher capacity and managing performance of individuals and teams</li>
<li>Proven capacity to lead the Professional Learning Culture of the school</li>
<li>Promotes a culture of informed decision-making, transparency and collaboration around the use of data </li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills and effective change management skills </li>
<li>Hold or are pursuing a Postgraduate Qualification in Education, Leadership, Theology or equivalent</li>
<li>Meets the requirements of Category E in the <a href="https://www.bth.catholic.edu.au/ContentUploads/files/Accreditation_to_Work_Lead_and_Teach_Policy.pdf">Accreditation Policy to Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Bathurst Diocese </a></li>
