<p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>About the Role</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif"> Carrol College is seeking an <strong>Aboriginal Education Officer</strong> to support the classroom teacher in providing quality learning experiences for all students with a focus on providing class supervision while the teacher provides required support to students where needed. The CSA is designated to a teacher/class rather than an individual student/s. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Essential Criteria:</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt">Successful applicants for the position will demonstrate:</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt">A commitment to the goals of Catholic education and a readiness to foster the aims and vision of the school in the wider community</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt">Ability to use discretion and judgement in organising and achieving outcomes in time constraints</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt">Effective communication and interpersonal skills, in particular the ability to relate well to students and to work in teams with staff members</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt">Initiative and the ability to handle a number of tasks concurrently, working independently and flexibly to adjust to changing situations</span></li>
