Exciting opportunity to work as part of a vibrant school administrative team - 2 days per week (Thursday and Friday)

<p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and professional administrative assistant committed to working as part of a team in a vibrant teaching community from the start of 2024.</p> <p>This is a level 4 permanent part-time position working Thursday and Friday, 8 am to 4 pm (averaged - do not work school holidays). There is also the possibility of casual work on other days in various administrative roles.</p> <p>As the first point of contact, you are the face and voice of the College, delivering outstanding levels of professional and courteous service to the College's community and visitors. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication, time management and organisational skills, along with being well-presented and boasting a positive attitude.</p> <p>This is a diverse and challenging role that requires someone who enjoys meeting new people and who is able to connect quickly with others. Your flexibility and time management skills will be crucial to your success in this role.</p> <p>Core duties include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Providing administrative support to teachers and the Executive Leadership Team.</li> <li>Liaising with parents, students and suppliers.</li> <li>Creating a welcoming and excellent service environment for the College.</li> <li>Answering telephone calls.</li> <li>Maintaining the reception area as a professional workspace.</li> <li>Coordinating and preparing College Newsletters and Alumni Newsletters.</li> <li>Assisting with student attendance management.</li> <li>General office administration tasks such as checking of College Info mailbox, student leave letters, bus bookings, typing, daily mail, daily notices and security, including visitors and casual key register.</li> <li>Assisting with other admin matters as required.</li> </ul> <p>The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following attributes:</p> <ul> <li>Exceptional time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload.</li> <li>Professional communication and interpersonal skills with an excellent customer service ethic.</li> <li>Excellent personal presentation, attention to detail and a can-do attitude.</li> <li>Self-directed and self-motivated with a capacity to be solutions focused.</li> <li>Genuinely interested in continuing their own professional and personal development.</li> <li>Flexible and adaptable attitude to work and the ability to work flexible hours when required.</li> <li>A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li> <li>Strong experience with Google Suite / MS Office.</li> <li>Experience with COMPASS would be an advantage.</li> <li>Be supportive of the Catholic ethos of our College and compliant with Sydney Catholic Schools privacy policies.</li> </ul> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p>
