Education Support Officer - Primary

We are seeking a Primary Education Support Officer to provide academic staff with a high level of assistance and support in classroom activities.
<p><b>The Role </b></p>
<p>The position of Primary Education Support Officer is intended to provide academic staff with a high level of assistance and support for classroom activities, ensuring the delivery of a quality educational service to all students. The Primary Education Support Officer will be expected to perform a diverse range of activities in fulfilling this role.</p>
<p>This is a part-time role, scheduled from Monday to Thursday (term time).</p>

<p><b>About you </b></p>
<ul>
<li>Certificate IV in Education Support</li>
<li>Current Senior First Aid Certificate.</li>
<li>Queensland Working with Children (Blue Card) or ability to obtain prior to employment.</li>
<li>Previous experience assisting in a Primary school setting</li>
<li>Ability to create a safe, secure learning environment in which trust is fostered, individual differences are respected and valued, and students are encouraged to be risk-takers and self-directed learners.</li>
<li>Strong team orientation with the willingness to contribute and collaborate in a team environment.</li>
<li>Ability to establish effective relationships with colleagues and parents and partnerships within the wider community.</li>
<li>High standards of personal integrity and professionalism.</li>
