We are seeking a dynamic, innovative and collaborative K-6 classroom practitioner and emerging leader to join our team at St Aloysius for 2024. This position is a Coordinator 1 role for 2024 and holds an underpinning permanent classroom teaching position.

</li></ul><p><b>About the role</b></p><p>This position is a temporary Coordinator 1 role for the 2024 school year (with a view to ongoing) and holds an underpinning permanent classroom teaching position. The role will support the school’s Annual Improvement Plan in the areas of Gifted Education and New Pedagogies for Deep Learning, infusing the six global competencies (character, citizenship, collaboration, communication, creativity and critical thinking) into the curriculum to challenge and extend learners. Class release of 0.1 FTE (1 day per fortnight) will be allocated for this position. </p><p><b>About you

</b></p><ul><li>a Bachelor of Education (Primary)</li><li>active membership with NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</li><li>qualifications in Religious Education or Theology in accordance with the <a href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/policies/accreditation-policy-to-work-teach-and-lead-in-sydney-catholic-schools" rel="nofollow">Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead in Sydney Catholic Schools</a>, or the commitment to complete this qualification</li><li>qualifications or professional development in Gifted Education (for example GEO1 and GEO2), with a willingness to undertake further study or professional learning in this area</li><li>SCS Employee ID Number or a commitment to <a href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/careers/registration-to-teach" rel="nofollow">Register to Teach in SCS</a>.</li></ul><p>
