The Board of WLPS seeks an experienced educator with a collaborative leadership style, experience with leading, promoting and growing a school, and a keen desire to embrace contemporary educational approaches.
<p>Waikerie Lutheran Primary School (WLPS) is a Foundation to Year 6 co-educational school of approximately 75 students located in the beautiful Riverland region of South Australia. The school was established in 1979 by the Waikerie Lutheran Parish. We are a member of the Lutheran Education Australia network of schools. Teaching and learning is conducted under the Australian Curriculum using a transdisciplinary inquiry approach. With a strong focus on well-being, we offer a comprehensive and contemporary program in a safe environment that supports students&#39; learning and growth, so they can become citizens equipped to make a difference in the world. </p><p>The Board of WLPS seeks an experienced educator with a collaborative leadership style, who is committed to the Christian faith and incorporates this in the values and behaviours of personal and community life. </p><p>The ideal candidate will have highly-developed interpersonal and communication skills, experience with leading, promoting and growing a school, and a keen desire to embrace contemporary educational approaches. A person who is familiar with the applicant’s academic and professional background and recent experience </p><p>c. A person who can authoritatively comment on the applicant’s personal qualities and capacity to lead </p><p>d.
