<p>The teacher of Stage 4 to 6 English must be an enthusiastic, talented professional to inspire the English learning area. <strong>The role is a Permanent full-time position for Term 1 2024.</strong></p>

<p><strong> The successful applicant will:</strong></p>

<li>Demonstrate a strong commitment to the mission of Catholic Education and a willingness to actively support and promote the Catholic, academic and pastoral dimension of College life.</li>
</ul>

<li>Experience to teach Stages 4 to 6 English classes</li>
</ul>
<ul type="disc">
<li>See themselves as learners and be committed to ongoing professional learning;</li>
</ul>
<ul type="disc">
<li>Work collaboratively with the Leader of Learning KLA and peers to design inquiry learning experiences where students exercise choice to demonstrate knowledge and understanding;</li>
</ul>
<ul type="disc">
<li>Lead the development of social skills and nurture the growth of enterprise skills including critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration for each student;</li>
</ul>
<ul type="disc">
<li>Integrate digital technology as an enabler and accelerator for student learning and professional learning;</li>
</ul>
<ul type="disc">
<li>Lead and use diagnostic data, summative data and formative data, including observations, annotations and work samples, to inform ‘next steps’ for students;</li>
</ul>
<ul type="disc">
<li>Demonstrate understanding of curriculum and pedagogy and how these underpin:</li>
<ul type="disc">
<li>inquiry-based learning</li>
<li>creativity and critical thinking;</li>
<li>responses to complex real-world questions and authentic problems;</li>
</ul>
</ul>

<li>Know and apply NESA and Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) requirements</li>
</ul>
