The College is seeking to employ a qualified and enthusiastic TAS teacher. This is a temporary 12 month position to commence Term 1, 2024

Keeping our founder’s belief that education should engage the heart, our holistic approach is based on a reasonable, respectful and reverent way of working with young people that prepares them for life. </p><p>Our TAS faculty are highly collaborative and are passionate about developing our students’ project and design skills - skills that prepare them for life.</p><p>A commitment to Catholic ethos/Salesian charism of the school is essential.</p><p>As a qualified TAS teacher, you will bring skill and excellence in classroom practice to this full time maternity leave position for 2024 in our growing school community. </p><p>Key selection criteria:</p><ul><li>Demonstrable commitment to the mission, values and ethos of Catholic education </li><li>Ability to teach Stage 5 Industrial Technology and Stage 6 Design &amp; Technology would be highly regarded </li><li>A commitment to academic excellence with sound knowledge of contemporary approaches to pedagogy in TAS </li><li>Ability to use a range of evidence effectively to differentiate pedagogy and assessment </li><li>Highly developed interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage effectively with parents, students and colleagues </li><li>A willingness to be involved in the co-curricular life of the College </li><li>Registration (or be in process) to teach with Sydney Catholic Schools </li></ul><p>Applications should include:<br /></p><ul><li>Cover letter addressing the key selection criteria <br /></li><li>Curriculum Vitae including NESA and Working With Children approval number </li><li>THREE referees with name and contact details (including your current Principal) </li><li>Applicants may be interviewed and, if successful, appointed prior to the closing date.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
