<p>St Hurmizd Assyrian Primary School is an independent, Kindergarten to Year 6 co-educational Christian school located in Southwestern Sydney. The school invites applications from suitably qualified Learning Support/ Teacher&#39;s Aide to assist students with diverse needs.  The Learning Support/ Teacher Aide works under the direction of the class teacher assisting with the supervision of students and a range of other activities.  </p><p>For 2024, we have <b>two</b> part-time positions available, these are temporary roles that commence Term 1, 2024 until the end of Term 4, 2024.</p> <p><b>What you will need to succeed (Essential  Criteria):</b><br /></p> <ul><li>Certificate III/IV in Education Support</li><li>The successful applicant will need to support the Christian values of the school and be a role model for the students.</li><li>Assist teachers and students both inside and outside Learning Spaces. </li><li>Assist with the supervision of small groups and/or individual students on activities, as directed by the teacher. </li><li>Undertake specific tasks with individuals or small groups of students under the guidance of the teacher</li><li>Current Working with Children Check</li></ul><p>Applications close: Friday 27 October 2023 (interviews may commence prior)</p><p>Salaries are based on the Independent Schools NSW  (Support and Operational Staff) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2021 (and paid above the Agreed rate).</p><p><b>How to apply </b></p><p>Applications should be made in writing and forwarded to Janet Jammo, Human Resources via email at hr&#64;acs.nsw.edu.au by the closing date. </p><p>1) A cover letter addressing the Essential Criteria and suitability to the position ( no more than 2 pages) </p><p>2) CV, including  two referees (Referees will be contracted only after prior consultation with the candidate)</p>
