OSHC Director
Contract Type: Permanent/Ongoing Position Part Time (0.60 FTE)

Manage and deliver the effective and efficient operation of Emmaus Christian College’s OSHC Program, leading a team of dedicated staff and establishing positive relationships with students and families.

<h4>About the Role</h4>
<ul>
<li>Work among a growing team of committed Christian staff</li>
<li>Establish positive relationships with students and their families, facilitating programmed activities and free play</li>
<li>Manage the delivery of Emmaus Christian College’s OSHC Program at Brooklyn Park, including implementing OSHC best practice in accordance with relevant frameworks, leading a team of OSHC staff members, financial management and administration, planning and evaluating programs</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare practices</li>
<li>Attend staff meetings and training to further develop effectiveness of OSHC program</li>

<h4>About You</h4>
<ul>
<li>A committed Christian with a deep desire to serve Jesus Christ as Lord</li>
<li>Demonstrated passion for biblically-based Christian education</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience working in an OSHC environment for a minimum of 2 years (leadership experience an advantage)</li>
<li>Effective administration and financial management skills including using ICT</li>
<li>Strong relational abilities with children, including interacting positively and respectfully, managing behaviour as required, and creating a warm and welcoming environment</li>
<li>Ability to work with individual children with particular needs and oversee planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes for children</li>
<li>Demonstrate a high level of communication, supervisory and interpersonal skills appropriate to working with other adults and communicating with parents of children in care</li>
<li>Possess the appropriate experience, training, knowledge and/or qualifications as listed above</li>
<li>Child Care Diploma and/or relevant teaching degree / (or) equivalent (or studying towards)</li>
<li>Experience working with groups of children of Primary School age</li>
<li>Experience and / or training in administration and management</li>
<li>Sound knowledge of current OSHC best work practice (NQF and MTOP for OSHC)</li>
<li>Current Statutory Requirements: Senior First Aid; Asthma and Anaphylaxis training; WWCC; RRHAN-EC (Mandatory Notification)</li>
<li>Current Driver’s Licence</li>
