We are a seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director / Educational Leader to join our professional Early Learning Centre team.

However, our distinctive structure enables us to develop and support smaller caring communities of staff and families united by Christian vision, mission and values. </p><p><b>About the Role </b></p><p>We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Director/Educational Leader to join our team at Trinity Christian School Early Learning Centre (ELC). The Assistant Director will take on responsibilities for the ELC when the Nominated Supervisor (Director) is absent on leave. The Educational Leader will collaborate with the ELC and wider school teams to influence, inspire, motivate and support the teachers and educators in providing a Christian, authentic and play based early childhood program. </p><p><b>Essential Criteria </b></p><ul><li>Have a genuine interest in the welfare of students and in their social, spiritual and academic development. </li><li>Demonstrate leadership skills to collaborate with the Nominated Supervisor (Director), the ELC team and wider school community. </li><li>Collaborate with teachers and educators to plan, implement and evaluate a developmentally appropriate program for early childhood education. </li><li>Have a thorough working knowledge of the National Quality Framework and the relevant early childhood legislation and regulations which govern the provision of Early Learning Centre. </li><li>Demonstrate the ability to work successfully as part of a team including the ability to critically reflect on your practice and attitudes and how these affect the wider team culture. </li><li>Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to contribute to a positive and professional team culture. </li><li>Demonstrate a growth mindset and a willingness to participate in ongoing professional development. </li></ul><p>Please refer to the role description for further detail regarding selection criteria and required skills and expertise. </p><p><b>Application Process </b></p><p>Applicants are required complete the online application form at <a href="http://www.tcs.act.edu.au/employment" rel="nofollow">www.tcs.act.edu.au/employment</a> and provide a Candidate’s Statement, Response to each of the Key Areas of Responsibility and Curriculum Vitae.
