The College is seeking early career teachers and experienced educators who are able to build connections between the curriculum and the classroom through engaging and innovative teaching practice.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">Our Diverse Learning Team is growing and we need additional teaching staff.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">The Diverse Learning Teacher role exists to work directly with classroom teachers and school leaders to plan, design and implement reasonable adjustments for students so as to ensure equity and access to learning across the curriculum.&nbsp; The Diverse Learning Teacher has responsibility for aspects of case management and working within case management teams for students with diverse learning needs in the College.&nbsp; This includes working directly with parents/carers and students in planning and monitoring progress.</p> <p dir="ltr">About You</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Dynamic and exemplary classroom practitioner who enables students with a diverse range of needs to achieve their full potential.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Experience with providing support for students using a variety of strategies including case management, team teaching and intervention.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Work collaboratively to plan and implement school programs that meet the needs, interests and strengths of students with diverse learning needs.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Work directly with the classroom teacher in identifying and prioritising students.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Collaboratively develop student profiles and personalised learning plans for students with key stakeholders, including students, parents/carers and teachers.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Model inclusive teaching practice in order to build the capability and capacity of classroom teachers.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Work collaboratively within the learning space to build the capacity of students to participate and succeed in classroom activities.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Demonstrate ability to be innovative and creative.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Ability to work effectively with an established team of successful practitioners.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Required qualifications to teach in NSW schools.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">A commitment to the Patrician and Catholic ethos of the College.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Child Protection legislation applies, including a current Working with Children Check.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Tertiary qualifications in areas of Special Education preferable.</p> </li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">If you require further information regarding this position, please contact:</p> <p dir="ltr">Janja Marinkovic, on 02 8811 0300.</p> <p dir="ltr">&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">Applications and curriculum vitae, including qualification transcripts and the name and contact details for three referees should be addressed to:</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">Frank Chiment<br>Principal Leader<br>Patrician Brothers’ College, Blacktown</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">Applications should be submitted in PDF format by email to – <a href="mailto:recruitment1519@parra.catholic.edu.au">recruitment1519@parra.catholic.edu.au</a></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">Closing date:&nbsp;Friday 8 December 2023</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
