Our Lady of the Sacred Heater Thamarrurr Catholic College is looking for an enthusiastic and engaging HPE teacher to start in 2024. The position involves teaching students in the primary and secondary school. The ability to teach dance is an advantage. Applications for this role are welcomed from both primary and secondary trained teachers. Experienced and graduate teachers will be considered.

<p>&nbsp;<b>About the school </b></p> <p>Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Thamarrurr Catholic College is a remote Aboriginal school located in Wadeye 400km South West of Darwin. The Kardu Diminin people are the traditional owners of the Wadeye country. There are over 20 clans from the surrounding Thamarrurr region residing in Wadeye and attending the school. The school operates a Family as First Teachers (FaFT) program, preschool, primary school and secondary school. The majority of people in Wadeye speak Murrinhpatha as a first language.
