<p>Red Bend Catholic College is an independent coeducational boarding / day College operated by the Marist Brothers at Forbes in the Central West of New South Wales. The College is situated in a picturesque setting on the Lachlan River. The College traces its origins to the founding of the Marist Brothers College in 1926 and the amalgamation with Our Lady of Mercy College, Forbes and Our Lady of Mercy High School, Parkes in 1977. The College provides a Catholic Secondary Education for day students from Forbes, Parkes and surrounding environs and 150 boarders drawn mainly from rural New South Wales. The current enrolment is 740 students.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Successful applicants will be required to demonstrate a willingness to support the Marist-Mercy traditions of the College.
