They will work in partnership with other members of the Counselling and Student Wellbeing Team, the Head of Learning Diversity, College Nurse, Teachers, and families to provide a coordinated approach to student wellbeing. They report to the Assistant Principal- Wellbeing and Engagement. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>About You </b></p><ul><li>Appropriate post graduate qualification in Psychology and registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA) </li><li>Extensive practice and knowledge of evidenced-based therapeutic practices as it relates to student wellbeing </li><li>Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of people </li><li>Highly developed decision-making skills, experience in implementing critical incident management plans and a demonstrated ability to think strategically, creatively, analytically, and problem-solve </li><li>Strong organisational and time management skills, with an ability to prioritise tasks, meet prescribed deadlines </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment, and to lead a cohesive and effective team </li><li>An understanding of the mission of a Catholic school and the implications for the work of the Head of Counselling Services in this context </li></ul><p>A current Working With Children Check (employee) and National Criminal History Check are essential requirements of this position. </p><p>This position is ongoing, full time opportunity. </p><p><br /></p><p>Please visit our website for further information on the application process, which must include a cover letter, resume and all supporting documents: <a href="https://www.kilbreda.vic.edu.au/our-college/employment/" rel="nofollow">https://www.kilbreda.vic.edu.au/our-college/employment/</a> </p><p><br /></p><p><i>Kilbreda College is a child safe employer and is committed to the welfare of children and their protection.
