All Saints’ College Maitland is seeking a temporary full-time Leader of Learning - TAS to join the team from 2023.

All Saints’ College Maitland is seeking a temporary full-time Leader of Learning - TAS to join the team from 2023 until the transition to one Campus.<br>This is a permanent teaching position that holds a temporary leadership role until the College transitions to one campus.<br><br>All Saints’ College is a coeducational year 7-12 Catholic School which is part of the Maitland Newcastle Diocese system of schools.<br>With approximately 1400 students and 200 staff learning and working across 2 campuses, we are the largest school in our diocese and one of the largest Catholic Schools in the state.<br>St Peter’s Campus caters for our year 7-10 students, and St Mary’s Campus caters for our senior students in years 11 and 12.<br>Following the decision by the Diocese in 2021 the College will be transitioning to one campus in the next few years.&nbsp;<br><br>All Saints' College prides itself on a strong presence in the Maitland community with a well-established Catholic tradition which includes a deep association with the local Parish community.<br>As a proud Catholic College, we encourage our students on their formation journey nurtured within a caring and supportive Christian environment.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br>All Saints' College commits to focusing on each individual child’s ability, offering a unique array of educational, creative, sporting and formation opportunities for the student.<br>Our goal for each student is to grow into lifelong learners, who are critical thinkers that value and build authentic relationships.<br>We are a community committed to a safe and supportive environment nurturing the formation of the whole person celebrating continual growth and success.<br><br><a href="https://diocesemn.azurewebsites.net/media/5496/position_description_-_cso_-_leader_of_learning.pdf" target="_blank"><br><br><head3><b>POSITION DESCRIPTION</b></head3></a><br><br>Leaders of Learning work in collaboration with the school leadership team and colleagues to promote the school as a place of learning and excellence in accordance with contemporary evidence-based learning principles. Within their faculty they will:<br><li>ensure the highest standards of teaching practice<br></li><li>lead and support the ongoing development, implementation and oversight of quality teaching programs and learning outcomes<br></li><li>have deep understanding and expertise in KLA curriculum requirements<br></li><li>establish a culture of collaborative and reflective practice<br></li><li>support individuals in identifying new experiences for their continual professional development<br></li><li>know their students and strive to provide engaging learning that supports student wellbeing.<br><br>The teacher will promote the school as a place of learning and excellence in accordance with contemporary evidence-based learning and wellbeing principles (including digital learning) and will ensure the ongoing development and implementation of pedagogical practices that impact on student learning outcomes.&nbsp; The teacher will acknowledge and agree to the requirement to work within the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.<br><br>The Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle is committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, preventing those in our care from suffering abuse or neglect, and is committed to being compliant with the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations and the National Catholic Safeguarding Standards.
