</li></ul><p>We are Mäpuru Yirralka College, and since our inception in 2018, we have enabled Mäpuru families, elders and custodians to direct the educational programs and schooling that takes place on Yolŋu land.
</p><p>With an average attendance of 40 students, which increases to 60 in the dry season, our College has two multi-year level classrooms, split into Primary and Secondary.
</p><p>We now have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Middle School Teacher to join our team in East Arnhem Land, Northern Territory.

</p><p><b>Are you the right fit?
</b></p><p>To thrive in this role, you will be a qualified Teacher and hold or be eligible for registration with the Teacher Registration Board of the Northern Territory. Ideally, you will also have previous experience working as a Middle School Teacher. Having said that, we are also considering graduates or high-skilled teachers who specialise in curriculum and pedagogy or learning and teaching.
</p><p>We are looking for a thoughtful/considered, adaptable and resilient individual who is creative in their approach and can bring our purpose to life. You will also have the skills to effectively engage your students, encouraging and inspiring them to set goals and supporting them to reach these.
</p><p>You must have genuine respect for Aboriginal cultures, be able and willing to learn from Aboriginal teachers and elders, be open to being mentored, and take direction as required.
