<p><strong>ST VINCENT’S COLLEGE</strong></p><p><strong>CHEMISTRY TEACHER</strong></p><p><strong>Position to start Term 1 2025 - 28/01/2025</strong></p><p><strong>Closing Date for Applications: 20 October 2024</strong></p><p>St Vincent’s College is seeking to appoint a committed, professional and enthusiastic teacher qualified to teach Science subjects across Stages 4-6, including Stage 6 Chemistry.</p><p>The successful applicant will be an innovative Science teacher. They will demonstrate excellence in classroom teaching of students across a range of ability levels and the ability to work cooperatively with a committed and enthusiastic department. They will have a desire to engage in pedagogical innovation and in integrating evidence-based practices in the classroom. Strong communication skills and a commitment to growth focused learning for young women is necessary. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Key position criteria</strong></p><p>·     Formal teaching qualifications in Science<br />·     Familiarity with NSW Science syllabus, able to successfully implement the requirements to      <br />     Year 12 level.<br />·     Capacity to develop and implement engaging learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students, including high potential learners<br />·     A commitment to promoting a culture of growth and achievement in the classroom by modelling a genuine passion for learning.<br />·     Collaborative teaching and work practices. Strong communication skills, effective record keeping and ability to manage workflow and demands.<br />·     An ongoing commitment to personal and professional growth.<br />·     A current Working with Children Check, be committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare, and well-being of young people.</p>
