Not required to work in school holidays</li> <li>salary packaging of up to $15,900 annually</li> <li>up to 25% discount on school fees for parents of SCS students</li> <li>ongoing training and development opportunities</li> <li>discounts on gym classes and memberships, activewear, healthy meals, and wellbeing products</li> <li>generous Employee Referral Program.</li> </ul> <p><br /><strong>About You</strong><br /> <br />The role of the Bursar is to support the smooth operation of the College's financial services, working as a member of the accounts office team in delivering a broad range of financial services to support the mission of the College. The Bursar is responsible to the Principal, through the Business Manager, for the daily administration of the College's accounts payable, receivable and billing systems and the accuracy of all charges, credits, payments and refunds entered into the finance system.<br /> <br />As the Senior School Support Officer (Level 6), you will provide a high-level of support to the Principal and leadership team. As an integral member of the school community, you will demonstrate <strong>LaSalle Catholic College Bankstown's</strong> values and professional standards in interacting with students, staff, parents and the community. <br /> <br /><br />Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:-</p> <ul> <li>commitment to the vision and mission of Catholic Schools, giving personal witness to the teachings of the Gospel in day to day personal interactions with staff, students and the College community</li> <li>assist the Businss Manager with providing key direction in school spending, budgets, assets, site buildings, finances, fees and non-educational data analysis</li> <li>managing financial tasks as required with a high level of attention to detail and accurancy, including accounts receivable, banking, purchasing and accounts payable, school fee debt management, preparing financial reports as required</li> <li>day to day management of schools fees including responding to parent inquiries, following up payments, coordinating fee assistance applications and compliance with policies and procedures in relation to debt management</li> <li>payment of supplier invoices in a timely manner</li> <li>efficiently managing registers</li> <li>assures compliance with SCS standards, principles and procedures</li> <li>proficiency in administrative and clerical tasks</li> <li>possess a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence</li> <li>flexibility, initiative and responsiveness in managing workflow with an ability to prioritise competing tasks.</li> </ul> <p>To thrive in this role you will possess:-</p> <ul> <li>competence in financial and/or administrative management</li> <li>valuable qualities such as tact, reliability, and the ability to work in a team effectively</li> <li>a commitment to honesty, discretion, and maintaining confidentiality</li> <li>prior experience working with children or in a school environment</li> <li>strong interpersonal and organisational abilities</li> <li>familiarity with emerging technologies like Google Suite,Oracle, Microsoft Office software, Google Chrome, Compass, CiAnywhere, along with a solid grasp of Facilities tasks and WHS.</li> </ul> <p>You will have attained:</p> <ul> <li>a minimum of five years of administrative/clerical experience</li> <li>experience in a team leader/supervisor or personal/executive assistant capacity</li> <li>proficiency in financial and administrative management.
