Our vibrant School is seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Head of Science, with preferred expertise in teaching Biology, for a full-time, ongoing role commencing from Term 1 2025.

Our unique bilingual program immerses students in a second language every day. </p><p><i>Unity Through Diversity</i> is our vision for an equitable, inclusive and regenerative world. </p><p>Our vibrant School is seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Head of Science, with preferred expertise in teaching Biology, for a full-time, ongoing role commencing from Term 1 2025.</p><p>As Assistant Head of Department, you will have a clear and exciting vision for the teaching and learning of your subject area. You will be an exemplary role model of professionalism and positivity, communicating and modelling a vision of excellence in all that you do. You will support the Head of Department in fostering a love of Science, together with an informed appreciation of the vital role Science plays in our world. As an energetic and collaborative leader, you will assist in building the breadth and depth, quality and rigour of the Science programs, and of student outcomes, across the School.</p><p>As Assistant Head of Science, you will be an outstanding teacher and a systematic, purposeful leader, with a deep knowledge and understanding of NESA Science syllabuses, and considerable, successful experience in HSC courses. You will have the capacity to assist in building an academically, engaging and accessible teaching and learning program. You will manage your portfolio with creativity, innovation, diligence, fairness and efficiency.
