<p>The Role</p>
<p>St Vincent’s College is excited to announce the creation of the new role of Information Systems Administrator. We are actively searching for experienced candidates who excel in the management and integration of data across diverse systems and applications. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate proficiency in capturing, documenting, and refining business processes. The successful applicant will be a seasoned professional with a track record of success in navigating the complexities of application systems administration. The Information Systems Administrator will leverage available tools and resources to deliver effective solutions to the College, with a primary emphasis on the School Information System.</p>
<p>Reporting to the Leader of ICT Innovation and Implementation, this role will lead the data and application channel of the IT team ensuring quality support and outcomes are delivered to all stakeholders.</p>
<p>Desirable skills, experience, and personal characteristics:</p>
<p>● Experience with SQL Server querying or other DBA related tasks.</p>
<p>● Experience working with various School Information Systems (SIS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS) (Desirable)</p>
<p>● An understanding of database systems and structures.</p>
<p>● Proficient understanding of API’s for data management.</p>
<p>● Experience with Microsoft PowerBi or other data visualization tools.</p>
<p>● Previous experience within an educational environment – (Desirable)</p>
<p>● Excellent customer service and communication skills to build effective networks and partnerships to resolve issues and achieve objectives.</p>
<p>● Strong passion for technology, process improvement and service delivery.</p>
<p>● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</p>
<p>● A dedication to achieving success through continuous process improvement.</p>
<p>● Understanding of Project Management Principles.</p>
<p>● Commitment to continuing professional development.</p>
<p>● Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders across the school community.</p>
<p>● A sense of humour.</p>
<p>Qualifications:</p>
<p>● Project Manager Certifications (Desirable)</p>
<p>● Relevant to data management, business analyst or other industry-based experience.</p>
<p>● ITIL V3/4 (Desired)</p>
