About the Role We have exciting opportunities for Classroom Support Assistants (multiple) to join our vibrant and dynamic community. Classroom Support Assistants at St Clare of Assisi Primary School work as part of the Student Centred Learning Team and under the direction of the Classroom Support Teacher. Classroom Support Assistants work with a variety of students from Kindergarten to Year 6. They assist classroom teachers and may work with individual students or small groups of students under the direction of the classroom teacher or the Classroom Support Teacher. Essential Criteria <ul> <li>A commitment to the goals of Catholic education and a readiness to foster the aims and vision of the school in the wider community</li> <li>Effective written and oral communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with students with learning needs, and liaise with parents and teachers.</li> <li>Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to contribute to a professional team and provide advice and evaluation in the development of the educational programs, including classroom support and therapy programs where they have been implemented.</li> <li>Effective organisational skills that will assist in the delivery of effective education programs and subsequent feedback and evaluation to teachers.</li> <li>Ability to assist with the general health and wellbeing of students.</li> </ul> Please refer to the role description for an in-depth detail regarding criteria and skill set required.
