The Catholic Schools Office (CSO) is currently seeking a Permanent Full Time Design Director for ASPIRE to join the team in 2024. <br> <br> Would you like to work as part of a dynamic, progressive and supportive education community? <br> <br> ASPIRE is the Maitland/Newcastle Catholic Schools Office creative and performing arts program. <br> With an emphasis on fostering creativity the ASPIRE program has a large number of programs on offer including in schools workshops and performance support and professional development for staff as well as special projects in areas such as songwriting, scriptwriting, devising theatre and choreography. <br> ASPIRE also creates an original production each year through which students can audition to be a part of through dance, design, drama, musical and production ensembles. <br> <br><a href="https://diocesemn.azurewebsites.net/media/5888/position_description_-_cso_-_design_director_-_aspire.pdf" target="_blank"><strong><br><br><head3> <b>POSITION DESCRIPTION</b> </head3></strong></a> <br> <br> In consultation with the Artistic Director ASPIRE, increase the profile and quality of Visual Art and Design experiences for students in our diocese by: <br> <li>Working with the ASPIRE Team to realise the design elements involved in all productions and projects and ensure a more sophisticated presentation of all projects. &nbsp;<br></li> <li>Provide costume design for the large-scale production and lead the student design ensemble that works on the set, props and costume elements in the production.<br></li> <li>Working with schools’ staff to provide visual arts-based workshops and programs.<br></li> <li>Manage and deliver the WOW Gallery project – an interactive gallery experience for stage 1 students using artworks created by students from across the diocese within the gallery.<br></li> <li>Work closely with the communications team to create and manage a social media strategy for the Aspire program as well as the Aspire website.&nbsp;<br></li>
