We are currently seeking a Risk & Compliance Administrator to join our College.

<p>St Francis Xavier College is a Catholic College with enrolments of over 3,300 students for 2023.</p> <p>The College serves families from the parishes of Berwick, Koo Wee Rup/Maryknoll/Iona, Narre Warren and Pakenham under the governance of Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited (DOSCEL).<br></p> <p>St Francis Xavier College is easily accessed via several major freeways – only 20 minutes from Springvale Road on the M1.<br></p> <p>The Risk and Compliance Administrator will perform various Risk and Compliance duties with discretion and confidentiality and provide general administration support to the Risk and Compliance team.&nbsp;<br></p> <p>The successful candidate will be employed on a fixed-term contract until April 2024, with the view of commencing in mid-January 2024.<br></p> <p>This opportunity can be part-time or full-time!<br></p> <p><b>Key responsibilities include:</b></p> <ul> <li>Assist administration of the Risk &amp; Compliance and Occupational Health &amp; Safety Management systems</li> <li>Provide administrative support to ensure that the college is compliant with meeting the VRQA minimum standards for school registration.</li> <li>Support staff in meeting mandatory risk and compliance training, including Emergency Management and Child Safety</li> <li>Assist with the Induction of volunteers into the College Child Safety System in liaison with the Director of Community Engagement</li> <li>Support the collection of School Review Surveys collation and data analysis liaison with the Director of Community Engagement</li> <li>Assistance with Internal Staff and Student Surveys, data analysis, and report creation</li> <li>Assist with administrative duties in relation to risk assessments</li> <li>Provide support to the Risk and Compliance Team in Emergency Management Planning and Training</li> <li>To keep records of Gift Notifications and child-safe notifications and escalate them in accordance with DOSCEL policy</li> <li>Any other duties as directed by the Principal, Executive Team &amp; the Acting Risk and Compliance Team Leader</li> </ul> <p><b>To excel in this position, you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:<br></b></p> <ul> <li><b>&nbsp;</b>Minimum 1-2 years of an administrative assistant or equivalent experience in a similar role</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>A commitment to Professional learning and growth</li> <li>Excellent planning and organisational skills and the ability to multi-task</li> <li>Excellent computer skills with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite</li> <li>Strong time-management skills</li> <li>Interpersonal skills to relate professionally with students and staff</li> <li>Understand and follow relevant College policy and government legislation, e.g., Privacy Policy</li> <li>Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and as part of a team</li> <li>Commitment to occupational health and safety</li> <li>An understanding of and commitment to Catholic education</li> <li>A commitment to Professional learning and growth</li> </ul> <p>The role will require travel between campuses, a current driver's license and access to a motor vehicle is required.<br></p> <p>Staff are employed under the Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited Schools and Secretariat Agreement 2022.<br></p> <p>This position is classified as an Education Support Employee Category C, Level 2.<br></p> <p><b>Applications close Friday, 8 December 2023 at 5:00pm.</b><br></p> <p>The successful applicant will also be required to undergo a Working with Children Check and National Police Check prior to commencement.<br></p> <p>The St Francis Xavier College community is committed to the safety, wellbeing, protection and inclusion of all children in our care.</p>
