<p>HASS &amp; Senior History Teacher</p> <p>• Full-time fixed term – Semester 1, 2024</p> <p>• Teach Humanities and Social Science</p> <p>• Capacity to teach Senior Ancient and/or Modern History</p> <p>The School</p> <p>Hillbrook is a co-educational school of 870 students from Years 7-12, established in 1987, and is growing to 900 students by 2024.</p> <p>One of our important qualities is our innovative and refreshing approach to education. We focus on quality teaching and learning and a specialisation in the nurturing of adolescents. All applicants would need to be supportive of the values of an independent Anglican school.</p> <p>The School Leadership Team (SLT) comprises the Principal, two Deputy Principals and a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and a Chief Operations Officer (COO).</p> <p>The Position</p> <p>Due to a period of long service leave, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced teacher of Humanities and Social Science (HASS), with capacity to teach Senior Ancient and/or Modern History, to join Hillbrook on a fixed term basis in Semester 1, 2024. The position may also take on pastoral care responsibility as a home class teacher.</p> <p>Applications are sought from experienced teachers who are confident and passionate about engaging adolescents with their learning, have a strong understanding of syllabus requirements and the current educational climate, and are motivated to contribute to curriculum development and teaching pedagogy.</p> <p>Hillbrook offers a supportive environment based on values of an independent Anglican school.
