We offer a balanced and caring learning environment focused on the needs of each child.</p> <p>We are seeking a Primary K-6 Teacher to commence Term 1, 2024 on a Permanent Full-time basis.</p> <p><strong>A typical day will include:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Structuring lessons to meet the physical, social and intellectual development and characteristics of each student</li> <li>Creating and maintaining a safe, inclusive and challenging learning environment and implementing fair and equitable behaviour management plans</li> <li>Interpreting and using student assessment data to diagnose barriers to learning and to challenge students to improve their performance</li> <li>Effectively managing the learning cycle, including planning for learning and assessment, developing learning programs, teaching, assessing, providing feedback on student learning and reporting to parents/carers</li> <li>Engaging with our school community within and beyond the classroom to enrich the educational context for students</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you can bring:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>An understanding of contemporary pedagogical approaches for primary years learners</li> <li>Knowledge of the content and sequence of Key Learning Areas</li> <li>Knowledge of a variety of online and multimedia programs to support student learning&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to make content meaningful to students at different levels</li> <li>A natural aptitude and drive to work with and within a collaborative team environment</li> <li>Well-developed communication, administration and interpersonal skills</li> <li>A willingness to learn and a commitment to your own professional development</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential Qualifications and Accreditations:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</li> <li>Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete)</li> <li>Valid <a href="https://ocg.nsw.gov.au/">Working with Children Check</a> (for employment purposes)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Please respond to the above selection criteria in your cover letter.
