As an Upper Primary School Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the academic and personal development of our students. </p><p><b>ABOUT THE COLLEGE </b></p><p>Founded in 1980, Christian College Geelong is a K-12 school where academic achievement is balanced with care and concern for each student’s character development and wellbeing, grounded in the Christian faith. We have five campuses across Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula and Surf Coast region as well as a rural experience for Year 9 students at an expansive farm property in Scotsburn, near Ballarat, and a unique Art, Technology and Design campus for Senior School students in Waurn Ponds. </p><p>Honesty, integrity, compassion, respect and tolerance underpin the expectations of all interactions within the College program. Staff members daily seek to provide examples of Christian love in their dealings with students, parents and other staff members. </p><p><b>ABOUT THE ROLES </b></p><p>Christian College Geelong has full-time and ongoing Upper Primary Teacher positions available at our Middle School in Highton and Surf Coast campus in Torquay. </p><p><b>Key Responsibilities: </b></p><p>• Develop and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans in accordance with the curriculum. </p><p>• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. </p><p>• Assess and evaluate student progress regularly. </p><p>• Provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians. </p><p>• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events and activities. </p><p>• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance. </p><p>• Stay updated on educational best practices and pedagogical developments. </p><p><b>Qualifications: </b></p><p>• Bachelor&#39;s degree in Education or a related field. </p><p>• Teaching certification or license for the appropriate grade level. </p><p>• Previous teaching experience in an upper primary or elementary setting preferred. </p><p>• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. </p><p>• Passion for education and a commitment to student success. </p><p>• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. </p><p>• Flexibility and adaptability in teaching methods. </p><p><b>TO APPLY </b></p><p>If you are passionate about teaching and making a difference in the lives of young learners, we encourage you to apply for this Upper Primary Teacher position at Christian College. </p><p>Interested candidates should submit the following application materials to recruitment&#64;ccg.vic.edu.au: </p><p>1.
