This role will focus on collaboratively developing strategy and delivering solutions that improve student learning outcomes and ensure alignment with the School’s strategic plan. </p><p><b>About You </b></p><p>You are dedicated, passionate, and possess the following: </p><ul><li>Tertiary qualification(s) in a related field/discipline or extensive equivalent experience as the role relates to information technology and security, valuing a mix of strategic, tactical and operational dimensions </li><li>Experience in a Management role – leading and managing a team of IT professionals with various skillsets and experience </li><li>Excellent documentation skills with experience in project planning and management </li><li>Experience directing and managing security threats with internal and external stakeholders to ensure appropriate and on-going security controls are in place </li><li>Evidence of innovative practices and the integration of IT to support teaching and learning experiences </li><li>Demonstrated strategic capability in both IT and pedagogy </li><li>Ability to work well under pressure and a willingness to learn </li><li>Extensive knowledge and understanding of current Information Technology trends </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills to positively build effective working relationships, drive engagement, motivate people and a proven track record of positively collaborating and partnering with multiple stakeholders </li><li>Ability to translate the complexities of technologies into simple and elegant solutions that foster strong user adoption and reduce the cognitive load of Teachers and Operational Staff </li><li>Extensive experience with a variety of IT systems in an educational environment including LMS, SMS and administration </li><li>Ability to deliver a high and consistent standard of service </li><li>Leadership and negotiation skills to manage the IT team and to liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholders </li><li>Diplomacy and an ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality </li><li>Professional educational experience is desirable </li></ul><p><b>About The School </b></p><p>Canberra Grammar School is a leading co-educational independent Anglican School founded in 1929.
