The Head of Music will also be responsible for maintaining and developing the profile of the College’s co-curricular Music program. They will work collaboratively with other Music staff, to maximise participation opportunities for students. The Head of Music will also foster a culture where all students are encouraged to participate in Music, and where students strive to achieve their best.

<h4><b>                                                                  Position of Leadership - Commencing 2024</b></h4><p>St Patrick’s College is a Catholic day and boarding school for boys in Years 7 to 12 in the Edmund Rice tradition, founded in 1893 and conducted by Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA).</p><p>The Head of Music is responsible for envisioning and implementing evidence-informed, research-based curriculum design and instructional practices, to achieve excellence in educational outcomes. The Head of Music will also strategically develop and lead innovation in assessment, including collegial approaches to data analysis. They will also lead the differentiation of pedagogical practices, to support a wide range of student abilities, and will spearhead initiatives to expand learning opportunities for all students.</p><p>The Head of Music will also be responsible for maintaining and developing the profile of the College’s co-curricular Music program. They will work collaboratively with other Music staff, to maximise participation opportunities for students. The Head of Music will also foster a culture where all students are encouraged to participate in Music, and where students strive to achieve their best.<br /></p><p>The Head of Music will spearhead the promotion of Music, strengthen and celebrate the curricular and co-curricular Music programs and foster a deep commitment to the performing arts via all things Music within our College community. Additionally, the Head of Music will have the unique and exciting opportunity to utilise and promote Music via the College&#39;s new Performing Arts Centre, which will be complete by the end of 2023.
