FULL-TIME | SALARY RANGE $90,000 - $110,000 P.A. PLUS 11% SUPER | INITIAL 3-YEAR CONTRACT

Catholic Education has a network of schools in both urban centres and remote communities. We have 18 Catholic schools in the region - five colleges, seven primary schools, one flexible learning centre and five remote schools.
The Leader Human Resources is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the HR Administration team, supporting the employee life cycle, EBA interpretations, employee relations and Human Resources System Applications.
The Role
Reporting to the Deputy Director School Services the key responsibilities will include the following:
• Provide a high level of support to the Catholic Education Office (CEO) and School leaders in the delivery of services of Recruitment and Onboarding including the use of TechnologyOne.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the Recruitment Officer, Travel and Relocations Officer and Receptionist.
• Assist with the development, review and implementation of policies, procedures and documents that support HR service delivery for the onboarding of CENT staff.
• Develop and coordinate HR business instructions for all HR Administrative functions of Travel and Reception and Onboarding and ensure they remain updated.
• Coordinate learning & development requirements across the Catholic Education Office as required.
• Assist with monthly HR reporting and analytics.
• Supported by the Recruitment Officer to implement a sustainable talent acquisition and hiring strategy and associated plans that are adaptable and flexible to meet key workforce needs, full-time equivalent (FTE) budgetary needs and responsive to market pressures.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of workforce resourcing practices, processes, and service level standards by working collaboratively with the broader HR and Safety team on a wide range of workforce planning, mobility, recruitment and retention projects.
Your Background
The successful candidate with have the following qualifications and certificates:
• Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualifications; or working towards such qualification.
• A minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience.
• Driver's license.
• Current Working with Children Check Ochre Card
This position involves working with children. The appointment of the successful applicant will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment with legislation.
