In a vibrant learning community, students are encouraged to explore and develop their talents to the fullest and aim for excellence in all their endeavours.<br /></p><p>As a long-standing Catholic school for boys in the Edmund Rice tradition, Parade College strives to be a learning community that offers best practice education and pastoral care to its students to foster fullness of life and holistic growth for all. </p><p>The professional environment for staff at Parade College emphasises innovation, the importance of lifelong learning and quality relationships between staff, students and the College community.<br /></p><p>For further information about the College, please visit the College website: <u>www.parade.vic.edu.au</u>.<br /></p><p> </p><p><b>ABOUT THE POSITION</b><br /></p><p>Applications are invited for the Executive Officer, Registered Training Organisation (RTO) from suitably qualified, highly motivated and innovative leaders with excellent organisational skills and a passion for Catholic Education in the Edmund Rice Tradition and the safety and wellbeing of children.</p><p>The Executive Officer, Registered Training Organisation (RTO) provides operational leadership of the registered training organisation (RTO) team and is responsible for the management of the day-to-day functions of the RTO with a focus on developing and delivering compliant and quality, education and training outcomes in a flexible and innovative way.<br /></p><p>The Executive Officer, RTO is responsible for implementing systems and processes that meet the requirements of the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) and Vocational Education and Training (VET) standards and conditions. This includes the requirements set out by the College funding providers.<br /></p><p>The successful candidate for this position will commence 29 January 2024 (or earlier by negotiation).  The leadership appointment is for a three year term, with an ongoing teaching position associated with the appointment. This leadership position attracts a generous Position of Leadership Allowance and time release per cycle.<br /></p><p><u>Essential Criteria:</u><br /></p><ul><li>Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education, Business and/or Leadership;</li><li>Demonstrated management experience within an education or training environment;</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of issues surrounding the establishment, design and coordination of accredited training compliant with VET quality framework;</li><li>Demonstrated experience in setting and achieving strategic and organisational targets;</li><li>Experience in stakeholder management;</li><li>Excellent and influential verbal and written communications skills;</li><li>Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or willing to obtain; and</li><li>A sound understanding of the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) and Vocational Education and Training (VET) standards and conditions.</li></ul><p>Please view the <a href="http://www.parade.vic.edu.au/siteassets/Files/Employment/Position-Description-Executive-Officer-RTO.pdf" rel="nofollow">Position Description</a> for further details about the role and the selection criteria.</p><p><b>Edmund Rice Trade Training Centre</b><br /></p><p>The Edmund Rice Trade Training Centre was established at the Bundoora campus in 2010 and at the Preston campus in 2013. The Trade Training Centre offers an introduction of the skills associated with building and construction for students in Years 10 - 12, and is also used by Year 9 ExCEL Try-A-Trade elective students. As Parade is part of the Northern Melbourne VET cluster, the centre is used by students from other schools in the area who are learning the same skills.<br /></p><p>To support the focus of the Centre, Parade College was granted RTO status in October 2013. <br /></p><p>The facilities at Parade are well suited to conduct specialised training courses.
