<p> Ss Michael and John&#39;s Primary School welcomes applications from suitably qualified, experienced and committed people considering the Deputy Principal – Religious Education position. The initial appointment is a three-year contract with the strong possibility of a further contract.</p><p> SMJ acknowledges the important and distinctive place of Religious Education and faith development. The DPRE will provide leadership in Religious Education, including the religious life of the school and the teaching of Religion, according to Diocese of Ballarat Catholic Education Limited (DOBCEL) policies and practices.  </p><p>The successful applicant will assist the Principal in: </p><p>• providing leadership and coordination of Religious Education, Faith and Mission</p><p>• emphasising the centrality of teaching and learning in the life and work of the school </p><p>• providing leadership in any other areas delegated by the Principal.</p><p>Relevant qualifications in either Theology, Religious Education, Scripture, Prayer, Liturgy or Leadership in a Catholic context is desirable.</p><p>Current teacher registration with a relevant Australian state authority is essential.</p><p>Further information and the Key Selection Criteria are available in the Employment section of the school website.</p>
