<p>Applications are invited for the position of Principal, commencing January 2024</p><p>St Jakobi Lutheran Campus is a co-educational Childcare &amp; Early Learning Centre and School located amongst the rolling hills and beautiful vineyards of the Southern Barossa Valley. St Jakobi Lutheran School- Foundation to Year 6 has 150 students and works collaboratively with the independently run Childcare &amp; Early Learning centre which has a daily capacity of 80. St Jakobi Campus is a learning community of the Lutheran Church of Australia and is proud of its history and beginnings–serving the families of the Southern Barossa Valley and surrounding districts since the mid-1800s. St Jakobi Lutheran Campus now boasts facilities and programs that capture the vision of its early forebears. It is a Campus for the whole community, committed to a holistic approach to education - a proud Campus, with good reasons to be so. </p><p>The Campus Council of St Jakobi seeks an experienced educator with a collaborative leadership style, who is committed to the Christian faith and incorporates this in the values and behaviours of personal and community life. The next Principal of St Jakobi will inherit a vibrant school with committed staff. They will be a future-focused educational leader who will continue the momentum of our masterplan building Stage 3, grow our Strategic plan, provide further development for students and staff, be highly visible and connected with our community and working with the Campus Council ensuring the success and sustainability of the Campus in the years to come. </p><p>The ideal candidate will have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, experience with leading, promoting and growing a school in a highly competitive educational market, and a working knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and Project-Based Learning. We are seeking a leader who has the natural ability to empower our students and staff, encouraging them to embrace the future with confidence, whilst providing them with a supportive and caring environment to allow learning to be optimised.
