Bede Polding College is seeking a TAS (Technology and Applied Studies) Teacher to join their collaborative team on a Permanent Full-Time basis, commencing Term 1, 2024 (or by negotiation). There is the potential for flexible face-to-face teaching or part-time arrangements for the successful applicant.
The successful applicant will be able to teach the following subjects:
- Industrial Technology (Timber/Furniture) Stage 5 and 6
- Technology Mandatory Stage 4

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

- Have a thorough knowledge of the TAS curriculum
<br>
- Successfully plan and implement programs that apply inquiry teaching and learning pedagogy
<br>
- Understand the fundamental concepts, structure and enquiry processes relevant to programs they develop and teach
<br>
- Able to create and maintain safe, inclusive and challenging learning environments and implement fair and equitable behaviour management plans
<br>
- Be able to operate effectively at all stages of the teaching and learning cycle, including planning for learning and assessment, developing learning programs, teaching, assessing, providing feedback on student learning and reporting to parents/carers

Qualification & Experience:
<br>

- Tertiary qualifications in Education
<br>
- NESA Accreditation
<br>
- Working with Children Check clearance (essential)
<br>
- Exceptional communication skills
