The College has an enrolment of approximately 2,300 students, with boys in Years 7 to 10 and a co-educational setting in Years 11 and 12. The successful candidate will have the&nbsp;<strong>ability to teach in one </strong>or more of the <strong>following areas</strong>: <strong>Design &amp; Technology</strong>, <strong>Timber</strong>, and/or <strong>Construction</strong>.</a></p> <p><a>You will deliver engaging and effective lessons, support students in their learning journey, and contribute to their academic success and pastoral care. Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellence in teaching are essential.</a></p> <p><strong>The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience in the areas of:</strong></p> <p>·&nbsp; Ability to teach TAS Stages 4-6</p> <p>·&nbsp; Planning and implementing effective teaching and learning strategies</p> <p>·&nbsp; Provide a positive and engaging teaching and learning experience for students</p> <p>·&nbsp; &nbsp;Assessing, providing feedback, and reporting on student learning</p> <p>·&nbsp; &nbsp;Developing teaching programs and assessments across all stages is preferred but not essential</p> <p>·&nbsp; Working collaboratively in an English Faculty</p> <p>·&nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to implement new syllabi</p> <p>·&nbsp; Willingness to teach in an additional Key Learning Area (KLA) is desirable</p> <p>·&nbsp; Creating and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment</p> <p>·&nbsp; Using effective pedagogies, a range of differentiated approaches and a variety of stimulating and interactive resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes</p> <p>·&nbsp; Effectively managing student behaviour and maintaining an educational environment that promotes learning.</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;The successful applicant will:</strong></p> <p>· Demonstrate a clear understanding and commitment to the Mission of the Catholic School</p> <p>· Adhere to the College's Safeguarding Standards and Child Protection policies and procedures</p> <p>· Teach with excellence, professionalism and commitment</p> <p>· Be supportive of the Lasallian ethos of the College</p> <p>· Be committed to professional growth and development of excellence</p> <p>· Be an experienced, innovative, and engaging team member</p> <p>· Have an ability to relate to girls and boys with a practical knowledge of boys’ education issues and initiatives in the foundation years (Stages 4 - 6)</p> <p>· Be committed to professional growth and development of excellence.</p> <p><em>Please refer to the position description for further information.</em></p> <p><strong>How to Apply</strong><br> Applications <strong>must be submitted via the College website</strong>.
